Page Brooke was formed by area businessmen James T. Anderson and H.K. Benham III in 1970. The company has grown into more than 800 apartment units in four different localities. It also has ventured into commercial and warehousing as well.
Page-Brooke started as one 24-unit building in downtown Winchester. Founders Anderson and Benham decided to search for more properties, leading to the company's growth in other localities outside of Winchester-Frederick County.
It has properties in Winchester and Leesburg in Virginia, as well as in Martinsburg, W.Va. The company also is in the final steps of adding rental propery in Blacksburg, Va. The company's growth will continue as the owners look to add other rental properties as well as its mini-storage business, which is located in central Winchester.
